Who we are
Creativity for all through technology
Lets Go Global are a creative media organisation in the heart of Old Trafford.
Set up in 2003, we’ve evolved from an arts-led, internet TV channel, to a dynamic media organisation offering training, workshops, video production, project management, venue hire and consultancy.
We have a high-spec media suite, a fully equipped broadcast studio and a committed team of artists and professionals ready to help you learn, work and participate in the creative media industry.
This site tells you more about what Lets Go Global can do for you. Use the menu above to explore our services, and how you can get involved.
Community Participation
We have over five year’s experience working in a community setting, and are specialists in reaching and involving the local community, particularly marginalized groups. We can provide projects with access to professional ICT & video production resources, and a live broadcast studio.
Project Management
We’re ideally placed to offer experienced and innovative project management; as well as a professional service, we can provide a practical space for community groups to use, and have strong relationships with a number of local artists.
Our Partners
Let’s Go Global are part of Trafford council’s Arts and Culture team. In fact, we were the first community Internet channel in the country to be operated by a local authority. Trafford council is now a leading local authority in community ICT provision.
Our partners include Arts Council England Northwest, BBC Education and Communities Partnership: Connect and Create, Manchester Digital Development Agency, AGMA, Liverpool John Moore’s ICDC, Creative Partnerships, Cornerhouse, Trafford Housing Trust and FC United.
Funding
Core funding for Let’s Go Global is provided by Trafford Council, with project funding coming from a number of sources including the Greater Manchester Strategic Arts Fund ERDF, ACE, MediaBox, MDDa and Creative Partnerships.
