Last Saturday the 19th May saw the event we have all been waiting for, Looping the Loop take place across The Quays. The event, organised by Lets Go Global was a celebration for the start of London 2012 games times in the North West and featured a whole host of arts, sport, film and unmissable live entertainment with a spectacular finale from Walk The Plank.
The All About Us projects were represented at the event with attendance from all 10 boroughs. Bolton showed off their BMX tricks, Manchester awarded medals, Oldham premiered their skating film, Salford geocached, Stockport showed off their upcycled art, Tameside were roving reporters and Trafford and Wigan performed their wonderful dance pieces.
The whole day was filmed and photographed and we’ll be bringing you some of the standout moments soon but in the meantime here are a few photos of the groups who took part, and the brilliant Granny Tourismo who entertained everyone on the day!!
